Sheikh Farhat Kamal
Sheikh Farhat Kamal, a scholar and Al-Azhar University graduate, brings 27 years of experience as an Imam within the Egyptian Awqaaf. Recently relocated to the United States with his family, he instructs Arabic and Qur’an with Tajweed at Al Salaam Academy. Sheikh Farhat also leads Jumu’ah at various masajid and conducts various religious programs on behalf of Al Salaam Academy.

Moulana Justin Poe
Moulana Justin Ray Poe is a qualified scholar with an M.A. in Islamic Texts (theology and philosophy) from Zaytuna College, a Shahāda ʿālimiyya from Darussalam Seminary, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. He teaches Arabic and Islamic Studies at Al Salaam Academy.

Faisel Maniar is an accomplished professional in the IT industry and has served for many years on the education board at ISB (Islamic Society of Baltimore). He possesses keen insights into organizational structure and utilizes his expertise to serve Al Salaam Academy as a part-time Principal.

Shaheda Hakim is a qualified scholar with an Ijazah from Madrasah Islahul Banat in South Africa. She has taught Qur’an and Islamic Studies at various Islamic organizations and assumes the role of Superintendent at Al Salaam Academy.

Hamna Kamran is a graduate of Islamic Sciences from Al Madinah Institute of Knowledge and a Hafidha of the Qur'an. She holds the role of Girls' Qur'an and Islamic Studies Teacher at ASA.
